The Community Services Unit is responsible for:

• The development, planning, coordination, supervision, and evaluation of Community Service programs as needed and requested.

• Management, coordination and operation of “Senior Watch Care” Program.

• Management and Coordination of Sheriff’s Office Volunteer Chaplaincy Service Unit.

• Serving as liaison between the Sheriff and Deputy Chiefs and various civic, community, and government organizations and agencies.

The Community Services Unit exists to promote cooperation between the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and the community in which it serves by providing Community Services throughout Anderson County as needed and requested.
