Criminal Investigations Division
The Narcotics Unit has the responsibility of conducting long-term, undercover investigations into illegal drug activity in Anderson County. This includes the trafficking of drugs, along with the possession, use, sale, distribution, and manufacturing of controlled substances as described by state and federal laws.
Most narcotics and vice investigations take extensive man-hours to complete; therefore, it may take several weeks or even months to develop enough evidence to arrest and successfully prosecute perpetrators and to effectively shut down a drug or vice operation.
If you would like to make a tip about illegal narcotic/drug activity, you can fill out a special form by clicking here. You do not need to leave any information about your identity. You may also contact the Anderson Area Crimestoppers to leave a tip.
