Remien

Shale Remien is a Public Information Officer for the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and aims to show “the heart behind the badge.” Whether on scene, meeting with detectives or briefing the public on camera, she enjoys interacting with the community by relaying quick and accurate information on behalf of the agency.

After graduating from the University of Missouri in 2015, Shale began her career as an Anchor/Reporter for Fox Carolina (WHNS). Some of her favorite stories to put together involve a firsthand look at the law enforcement operations or breaking news scenes.

She recently joined the Sheriff’s Foundation Board in 2024 and serves as Secretary. “I see every day how these deputies help people on the worst day of their lives and I’m thankful to be a part of a Board that looks out for them too when they need it most.”
