Pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. 30-2-50 (1976, as amended) obtaining or using public information for commercial solicitation is prohibited and is punishable by a fine of up to $500, imprisonment for one year, or both.

 

Pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. 30-4-30(D) the identity of persons booked into county detention centers in this state for the preceding three months must be immediately available for public inspection during normal business hours without written request.
